For beginners and anyone who likes to give their meditation practice a boost.
The summer break is a great time to make a fresh start. Meditation is a down-to-earth and practical resource. It helps us stay sane, feel more in touch with ourselves, connected with others and awake in our lives.
This restorative meditation retreat focuses on how we can better deal with anxiety, stress and distractions, and stay more grounded, spacious and kind.
Each day will include:
Short teachings and discussions
Sitting and walking meditations
Periods of silence
Gentle mindfulness movements
Time for rest and relaxation
There is the possibility of personal interviews to clarify practice questions. After the retreat, participants will receive recorded meditations to inspire their meditation practice at home.
The retreat will be held in our Temple, which is a modern example of a traditional Tibetan monastery designed to be an inspiring symbol of the Buddha’s teachings for our times.
Dzogchen Beara Retreat Centre/ West Cork, Ireland is a 2-hour drive from the Cork and Kerry airports.
